How Should I Clean My Ceramic Tile?
Ceramic tile floors are incredibly easy to maintain. You should sweep or vacuum regularly and mop them according to manufacturer recommendations. Grout should also be cleaned periodically, though some build-up and fading in color is inevitable.
Do My Grout Joints Need to be Resealed?
If you place a few drops of water on your grout and it beads up, your sealer should be fine. If your water absorbs into the grout, you will need to reseal it.
How Long Will Tile Last?
If installed properly and maintained, ceramic tiles can last many, many years. There are slight differences in the durability of different kinds of tile. Glazed tiles will wear more easily than unglazed tiles, and porcelain tiles will last longer than other ceramic tiles.
Ceramic tile and porcelain flooring is a hard-wearing natural product that will give you many years of lustrous beauty with the right care & maintenance routine.

natural stone care
Cleaning Natural Stone
Natural stone floors are relatively easy to clean and maintain. Dirt, grit and sand are abrasive materials and can do significant damage to stone tile. Cut down on dirt by placing mats or rugs near exterior entrances. Dust mop your floor regularly and clean them with warm water and a mild soap. Be sure to avoid acidic cleansers, like products containing vinegar or lemon juice, as well as abrasive cleaners like scouring powders or creams – both can cause damage to your stone.
Maintenance Tips
Periodically reseal your tile or natural stone floor with a penetrating sealer product to continue protecting the surface. Wipe up spilled food and drink as soon as it happens. Many common foods contain acids that will etch or dull a tile or stone surface if allowed to stand. Do not place hot items directly on the surface as they can cause cracking. glass tile care
Easy to Clean and Resistant
Glass tiles are treasured for their beauty and sparkle, but they have many other valuable characteristics, as well. Because they are completely waterproof, they can be used in kitchens and bathrooms as backsplashes, countertops, and shower and tub enclosures. The glossy surface of glass tile stands up well to the dirt and grime that can accumulate on kitchen surfaces. They are easy to clean and resistant to stains, mold and mildew.
Cleaning Glass Tile Surfaces
To clean glass tile surfaces, a mild cleanser can be used, or a homemade solution of equal parts of vinegar and water is also effective. A soft bristle brush can be used to scrub the tile, but anything more abrasive should be avoided. This consideration is not so much to protect the glass tiles themselves, but to prevent the grout from becoming scratched or gouged.
When using a vinegar and water solution, you can safely leave it on for about ten minutes, and then wipe it clean. Rinse well with clean water, then buff and shine dry with a soft towel to avoid the formation of water spots and streaks that can mar the beautiful reflective surface of your glass tiles.
